Community Connections (Revelstoke) Society
The professional counsellors at Community Connections are committed to building constructive and collaborative partnerships with individuals and families seeking support. Their practice is inclusive, client-centered and sensitive to culture, gender and spirituality. Counselling services provided at Community Connections include individual, family and group.
The team have a range of professional backgrounds including Social Work education and registration, Psychology, Early Childhood Education and Educational Assistant Programs, and are committed to ongoing professional development.
Counselling services are funded by the Government of British Columbia through the Ministry of Children and Family Development and Ministry of Community Services as well as contracted Employee Assistance Program Providers.
Specialties:
- Counselling and Consultation Services – counselling services, child and youth services, educational and consultation services
- Family and Youth Services – counselling, youth mentoring, family support, Bellies and Babies, PACT, summer camps
- Community Outreach and Development – Food Bank, Food Connect, food security, social justice, homeless outreach, tenant support
- Community Living for Adults – Home share program, supported employment, individualized community living programs
