For families with small children (aged 0 to 6) helpful staff at the Revelstoke Early Years Centre can assist with any questions you may have. Just call (250) 805-2305 or drop by Room 120 – 1001 Mackenzie Ave.
Registering your children for school is easy. Call the School District 19 office at (250) 837-2101 or drop by 501 11th St East, at the end of Vernon. OR for elementary aged students attending the French School, call l’Ecole des Glaciers at (250) 837-6364.
Apply for a BC Driver’s Licence at our local Service BC office, located in the Revelstoke Court House at 1123 Second St. West, or call (250) 837-6981.
It is best to apply for BC Medical Services Plan online. You will need to include a photo which can be taken at the Service BC office at the Revelstoke Court House.
For all employment questions and opportunities, the local WorkBC office is the place to go. WorkBC is located at 117 Campbell Ave. or call (250) 814-0244. They have many helpful services and programs.
Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and connect to the community. Volunteer opportunities are posted on the volunteer board at the Community Centre or on the Community Futures website.
