Laboratory Services – Queen Victoria Hospital

A physician referral is required for all lab services, excluding HIV testing. For HIV Testing any patient can visit the lab and ask for the test, or the test can be added to existing blood work being ordered by a physician.

All outpatients (except those coming to the lab for an HIV without a physician’s order) must bring ID (BC Services Card or photo ID) and check in at the front desk to access lab services.

Laboratory services are available from 8:30 am – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
