Ascent Psychology is staffed by Dr. Katie Kryski, R.Psych. and Dr. Melanie Parkin, R.Psych. Drs. Kryski and Parkin are Registered Psychologists who provides intervention and comprehensive assessment services to children, adolescents, adults, and couples/families facing a range of clinical and personal issues. They work out of Revelstoke, BC but are available to provide telepsychology services to remote areas. Brittanya Beddington, M.A., R.C.C., C.C.C. offers Registered Clinical Counselling and Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy to individuals in person and online. She supports adults and adolescents with a broad range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, self-worth, ADHD, life transitions, and sleep challenges. She also offers Child-Centered Animal Assisted therapy with horses and walk-and-talk therapy.

Child and Youth Mental Health – Ministry of Children and Family Development

The community-based Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) services provide a range of specialized mental health services. These services and support range from mental health promotion and mental illness prevention to early intervention, treatment and support services for infants, children and youth with mental health problems, from birth to 18 years of age, and their families/caregivers. Working collaboratively with children and youth and/or their families/caregivers, CYMH practitioners provide free services and supports including intake, screening and referral, assessment and planning, treatment, case management, and consultation.

Community Connections (Revelstoke) Society

The professional counsellors at Community Connections are committed to building constructive and collaborative partnerships with individuals and families seeking support. Their practice is inclusive, client-centered and sensitive to culture, gender and spirituality. Counselling services provided at Community Connections include individual, family and group.
