COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic

Revelstoke residents 12+ are now eligible for 1st and 2nd dose vaccination on an ongoing basis. Adults are eligible for 3rd doses upon receiving a notification of  eligibility. For more information and to register online, see the page on How to get vaccinated for COVID-19.

To make an appointment by phone in Revelstoke for a COVID-19 vaccination, call 1-833-838-2323. The call center operates seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. This option is suitable for those without a Personal Health Number.

First and second doses of the vaccine are available on a walk-up basis at the Revelstoke Community Centre Vaccination Site, for those aged 12+. Children under the age of 12 require pre-registration for their vaccination appointments.

Family members or those who provide trusted support can call in to register eligible seniors for a vaccine appointment. IH also ask that family and friends of seniors in these age groups have only one designated family member or support person call to book appointments for people in this age group.

 

Public Health – Prenatal, Maternity and Postpartum Support

Public Health Nurse services provided by Interior Health in Revelstoke include immunizations, breastfeeding support, prenatal/postpartum information, and supports for new parents.

Prenatal, Maternity and Postpartum Support

  • Pregnancy Testing and prenatal information
  • Postnatal follow up for moms and babies – you can expect a call and a home visit from a Public Health nurse.  New parents are encouraged to use these services and reach out anytime.
  • Breastfeeding support
  • Postpartum depression support and resources
  • Infant crying
  • Providing health information and screening (including development, health and safety)
  • Nursing support services for children with special needs
  • Child development parenting skills promotion and guidance
  • Dental, hearing, vision, speech and language services
  • Support for dads and partners

  • In BC, vaccinations are offered free of charge to protect children from 12 different diseases
  • Vaccines are given at two months, four months, six months, twelve months, eighteen months and when entering kindergarten.
