Telehealth – Interior Health

Telehealth services at Queen Victoria Hospital let patients “meet” their out-of-town health care provider using a television screen or computer monitor, video camera and microphone, which operate over a secure network.

This allows the patient and health care provider, most often a physician or specialist physician, to visit without the need for out of town travel. Telehealth helps patients by providing access to health care providers and services in the comfort of their community which in turn saves patients time and money by keeping them close to home.
