Confidential and non-judgemental health care is everyone’s right. This includes HIV testing and treatment. An HIV Health Outreach Nurse will come to Revelstoke to support you. All services are free, including HIV/HCV/HBV testing, partner notification, referrals, counselling, harm reduction, and connection to community resources, care and treatment. Provincial Health Care Insurance is not needed for any testing provided. The Health Outreach Nurse travels to Revelstoke to provide services at the OPT Clinic (see below) as well as Public Health at Queen Victoria Hospital.
A physician referral is required for all lab services, excluding HIV testing. For HIV Testing any patient can visit the lab and ask for the test, or the test can be added to existing blood work being ordered by a physician.
All outpatients (except those coming to the lab for an HIV without a physician’s order) must bring ID (BC Services Card or photo ID) and check in at the front desk to access lab services.
Laboratory services are available from 8:30 am – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

A drop-in clinic providing access to free or low cost, confidential, non-judgemental sexual health care rooted in reproductive choice. The clinics are run by certified nurses, doctors and trained volunteers and offer a wide range of sexual health services.
Clinics provide birth control counselling, low-cost contraceptives, sexually transmitted infection (STI) screening, cervical screening, pregnancy testing, pro-choice pregnancy options, counselling and general sexual health information and referrals. Services are LGBTQ2S+ friendly and for all ages.
