Humane Society and Animal Control
The purpose of the Revelstoke District Humane Society (RDHS) is to improve the welfare of animals through programs and services in sheltering, education and protection. RDHS volunteers provide care for the animals at the City of Revelstoke Animal Shelter on weekday evenings and weekends. We recieve the adoption fee from all animals at the shelter. In return each animal that is adopted out is spayed/neutered, de-wormed, ‘de-flead’ (if necessary), vaccinated and tattooed.
