Dietitian Services – Interior Health
Dietitian Services – The dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy to individuals staying in hospital who are at nutritional risk. If you or your family member is in hospital and are concerned about nutrition risk, ask your physician or nurse for a referral to see a dietitian.
Public Health – The Public Health Dietitian is a Registered Dietitian that works with community groups, early childhood programs, school districts, organizations, health professionals, educators and local government to support and promote healthy eating at a broader population and policy level.
Long-Term Care (Mt. Cartier Court) – The LTC Dietitian provides nutrition care to individuals living in Mt Cartier Court. A Nutrition Care Plan is created for everyone living in MCC. These care plans are reviewed, monitored, and evaluated regularly in response to the changing needs of the person in care.

Fees for Interior Health Dietitian Services are covered by the BC Medical Service Plan. A physician referral is required.
